Q: When will this pack going to be released?
A: For now there's no release date defined, although you shouldn't count with anything regarding this mod this year. There's an high chance that this mod will be only fully released with a full Single Player campaign of my own or another in development, which will take some time.
Q: Will this mod have online support? Why?
A: No. The reason is very simple: the code involved and all the features implemented make this mod a really "heavy" mod regarding processing. Although a local machine can handle it with no problems at all, in an online play the server would stutter a lot and there wouldn't exist enough bandwidth to run this mod properlly. Just think in the problems spammy weapons or some Rocket-X cause already for a server, and multiply those by 10 and you should have the amount of problems, bandwidth and processing required to run this mod.
Q: Will this mod be public?
A: Yes. Once released anyone can use for whatever they want.
Q: Do I need a super machine to run it?
A: No, you don't. If you can run most mods existing today in the servers or even around the Web, then you shouldn't have a problem with this mod (I placed about 30 vehicles on top of each others, and exploded them all, and it didn't lag that much).
Q: There's going to be bot support?
A: Well, what I promisse is "AI support", which means that you will be able to have proper pawns guiding the vehicles, giving them orders, paths to follow, etc, just like a ScriptedPawn, however regarding regular Unreal Tournament bots, I can't promisse anything.
Q: How well is the vehicle physics simulated?
A: Regarding a true vehicle, it won't simulate such things as springs or traction, it will just simulate the very basics: acceleration, speed, normal and ice traction, slopes inclination, turn, etc. Regarding collision, it still uses the old "cylinder" one, but the vehicles shouldn't feel very bad in being driven (at least in the internal tests people liked how they handled relative to this old engine).
Q: How many vehicles will have the whole pack at the end?
A: About 30 (7 already done).
