I am known as Feralidragon on most Unreal Tournament communities I active in, and Ex-{WINGS}xXx on all the servers I play and most clan based communities. In a L4Y and YouTube you might have seen me as tutano or tutano2004 (if you ever seen one of my videos or posted at L4Y).
I am 21 years old, and I play and mod/code for Unreal Tournament, since I like that game and I like to develop for games.
I am also a moderator at ut99.org, one of the most active UT forums nowadays, next to sites such as BeyondUnreal and UnrealSP.
Regarding gameplay, I like mostly to play SLV, Zark Sniper and sometimes Instagib.
I do pretty much everything myself regarding UT: programming (mods, code, etc), models and skins (not that good), sound edition (from the sounds already existing for all the Unreal series), maps (although I am still a real noob at it), 2D graphics (regarding GUI and HUD), etc.
I started doing all that in 2008 (I think, don't remember well), and I did more mods and maps than the ones available on this blog, which the reason I don't make them also available is because either I don't have them anymore, or because they are really really bad.
I am not anyhow one of the best modders around, but I try my best in everything I do and release, and I keep supporting any mod or map, as long it's played and apreciated by the community.
From all the mods and maps I did so far, some of them were actually requests or fixes regarding other coders work, and not only projects of my own alone.
I started to do some more "serious" modding when I made the very first version of Nali Weapons and The Ultimate super weapon, but none of them were that good even at that time, so I decided to get better and continue to develop.
From the mods presented here at this blog, I started with Nali Weapons 2, then X-Pickups, then the Venom-X and at last, and still in developing, X-Vehicles.
One of my big problems as a developer is that I am never happy with my own work more than 2 weeks, or even days. For instance, when I released Nali Weapons II X at the time, 2 weeks later I didn't like it anymore, since I had the feeling it could be a lot better and I wanted it to be better, but I lacked and still lack the necessary skills to do something which I can be proud off, although most people actually like what I produce.
I have a big ambition regarding UT, which concerns about the very last mod I want to develop of UT: a large Single Player campaign with good visuals, weapons, vehicles and most of all, a good story.
For that reason, I am developing now Nali Weapons 3, X-Vehicles and bunch of new mapping tools and features such as "water splashes and trails", UScript based distance fog, etc. Kinda crazy, I know, but really possible, and regarding the most difficult features, already achieved and developed (with some "sweat" yes, but done). The only factor here that can determine the end of such big projects is time, nothing more, nothing less. So even if the community disappears, this is an ambition I have and that I want to accomplish at least regarding this game.
For now I created this blog so I could organize a little space with all my stuff on it, and so people could also give their feedback and bug reports without the need to register anywhere.
Don't be afraid to say what you really think, since that's the only way to improve anything, no matter how hard it was already to do.
Enjoy the blog :)
